@ Moderator - sorry I meant to put this in general TVR section so have double posted, can you sort?
Thanks

Hello all,
After what seemed like the longest month of my life since putting the deposit down I finally picked up my new T350c from Drivestyle on Wednesday morning.

I got a lift over there with a mate and took a camera along fully intending to take some photos to remember the day by. But as we pulled up outside the showroom ‘my’ car was parked right there and was the first one I noticed even though it was next to their bright orange Sagaris demonstrator. From then on the whole process of signing the paperwork and handover etc. went by in a complete blur. I just wanted to get in and drive off.
I didn’t manage to take any photos the whole day – I’m gutted now as it will almost certainly never happen to me again.
Sorry to Steve, Phil and the fella with a bucket and sponge at Drivestyle if I seemed a bit business like, I was slightly overwhelmed and keen to drive off in my dream. Thanks guys.

I’ve done about 350 miles so far and have enjoyed every one of them. I cannot help but laugh out loud at random times 'cos I cannot believe it’s actually mine!!

Running in strictly as per the instructions so it has been a huge exercise in self control, really looking forward to giving it a bit more after 1000 mile service.

The reaction from joe public is fantastic, 100% positive. The attention it gets is something that might take while to get used to and my family think I’m mad.

I’ve had my first few fault codes (water temp sensor and A/C) and the expected high water temps scares but no more (fingers crossed). The codes reset straight away, water temp dropped as soon as I got out of traffic. All fluid levels have been checked a couple of times. I reckon all is OK but will phone dealer tommorow for peace of mind.

I feel a long and special bond forming already.

Swanny

PS
I’m writing this sat in the garage looking at her.

Yep, I still do the same two years on. Excellent! I even find myself changing out of a crappy T-shirt just before a drive, because you know everyone will be looking at the car. And I'm now a avid weather forecast watcher, always checking for dry weather.

Hope you've taken some photos now so we seen some pics of your new P&J.

I think the T350 looks superb in that shade of silver. Good luck with the new car!

Thanks all.
Had another fab drive today in and around the lake district, the roads where a bit busy but had fun anyway. I'm still suprised at the amount of positive attention the cars gets, everydody from chavs to grannys seem to love it.
