Right, just got back in, had to go out and thought best to delete the whole thing given the way that was going

The pic with the speedo was actually to show the outside temperature of 25 degrees, which is quite a thing to see in N.Yorks this year! Hadn't even noticed I'd dared to stray to a hideous indicated 10mph over the limit which given the over reading of speedos would have been? 64 or maybe 65 mph maximum??(strike me down ffs) and as for using a camera rolleyes

So a few pics from a great drive out on a fantastic day.

Hey blot, I recognise the Hole of Horcum. Do you live near there? I grew up near Whitby and my parents still live there.

Its quite a cool spot. Loads of people throw themselves off the edge every weekend (attached to handgliders!). I once rolled into the carpark pictured at 2am having ran out of petrol, I had driven for 50miles desperately looking for a station but nothing was open. Then eventually rolled to a stop, and had to phone and wake my dad to go on a 30mile round trip to get me a can of unleaded. Something very seedy about sitting in a carpark in the middle of nowhere at 2am. Not cottaging officer.

tis HoH indeed and one of my favourite roadscloud9 which was remarkably empty this morningsmile

Covered 150 miles in total, bright sunshine & blue skies all the way, car was on it's very best behaviour and was close to being my most enjoyable driving day of all time, but certainly the best in this country smile

Was my favourite road until I got nabbed by a cop hiding behind a tree with a speed gun. Now I'm too scared. That road should be exempt.
