Saw some steam, stopped had a look and it looks like theres a stone gone into the rad. Current ball park estimate to replace the radiator is yikes rather pi$$ed off now as recently both cats had to be replaced couple of weeks ago (not covered by the maser warranty you know!) and even with the goodwill amount from maser it was yikes and double yikes oh and this is after a major service too.

So thats made me grumpy and massively skint for the forseeable.

Out of interest how much did you pay? I bought two rads two months ago and they were around £320ish each. Thats for a 355, how much for a Mazza?

Yes try phoning up and asking how much to have two cats (catalytic converters) replaced. I think two albino mountain lions would be cheaper cats.

Water rad on a 3200 is circa £350 whilst the 4200 is £180 both prices courtesy of my friends at Eurospares so don't get shafted. Always assuming you cannot economically repair the old unit by fitting a new core of course

hope this helps

Ouch. I think Eurospares have just taken ownership of a largely intact GS, so maybe you can cut a decent deal with them.

Turns out it was the A/C condensor thinggy - infront of and below the rad. Can't really argue with the prices - condensor, filter, regass plus labour. Still a very expensive stone though!
