Hey guys,

This is my first post about my Chimaera!! woooh, how exciting.... (used to be a VX220 turbo driver, but always wanted a TVR)....

Anyway, seems like most people agree that the seatbelts are a nightmare. Well my passenger one is so bad that i decided to teach it a lesson. However, it taught me one instead, and that is, dont interfere with it....!

So now ive gone and broken it, so i cant take any passengers!!! Which is a good thing in some ways, but gets a bit lonely at times....

I did a search on the site, but still no answer to the burning question......

Does anyone know of any direct replacement seatbelts that work better than the exisiting ones?

And if so, were can i buy them and who can fit them for me??

Cheers
Jon

They are just bog standard inertia reels with a 30cm stalk.
Securon list them (part # 500/30)
readit

any motor factor should do them.
(i used to do sales for a couple motor factors and it looks like my next job will be sales at another motor factor nerd)
Should be about £40
Probably on Ebay some where as well.
Securon will sell them to you off their web site, but at a higher price, (£57.74)yikes
