If you send Gerbil the handbook code (or underbonnet) he will be able to help with colour matching, touch up etc

I think, from SCH, that your car is the same colour as mine. There is a plate under the bonnet that says "Body code" and on mine, the paint code in that box is PA14B.

Somebody has also scribbled into my handbook (before I got the car) that the paint code is also Toyota 8e3.

The TVRCC web site has a section called "colours" and that also says that TVR PA14B is the same as Toyota 8e3 Dark Blue Pearl.

So I think that's narrowed it down!

One problem is that I've been told that Toyota had 2 or 3 shades of 8e3 over the years so a match isn't guaranteed! I did buy a wee bottle of touch-up paint but it's a couple of shades too light.

I want to tidy up the door shuts and a couple of underbonnet scratches on my car so I am going to order an aerosol kit from www.paints4u.com and see what I get (that's not an endorsement of the site, it's just that I found that they will sell an aerosol of toyota 8e3 - I haven't seen it anywhere else)

I had the front of my car repainted a couple of years ago by a good bodyshop and the match is perfect, so the correct paint is out there somewhere! If I had known the right colour would be this much hassle, I'd have asked them for the paint code at the time.
