boot won't open.

My boot won't open via the touch handle, only via the boot release on the key.

Anyone know if this is a common problem and what the remedy is before I start taking it all apart !

Not trying to be funny, but have you checked that it's not been locked with the key. When the boot lid lock is turned a certain way it stays locked all the time, and doesn't unlock with the central locking. The only way of opening it when it's set like this is by using the boot release button on the key fob.

Mine does this when the glovebox is locked but I have a cab. Might be worth checking `tho.
