Chimaera 450 1999 Head lamp glass cover
Discussion
This weekend´s drive out through the south east of Austria the glass cover of my Chimaera´s right head lamp broke caused by a stone on a road under construction. It says BOSCH T(?)4 on it. Who can help me giving advise on how I can order that online resp. by phone and have it mailed to me in reasonable time at a reasonable expense?
Sedcondly I realize after shutting the driver´s door the outside mirror must be sometimes readjusted into correct position because apparently the rubber where the mirror sits on is worn resp. shrunk. Any advice of a clever uncomplicated solution?
Would anyone recommend front stone protection cover for the bonnet for winter drives if I can´t resist to do so? Where, if available at all can I order such?
Thank you for your help!
Have good ride!
Hi Deejay. Thankyou for your kind offer. The only remaining glass says on it:
BOSCH H4 R and several numbers. But I don´t mind whether left or right glass. Does it come with the rubber sealing? If the series numbers are important, I will go and check again-unfortunately I lost the note where I wrote on it this morning. I think that the glass size did not change with the Chimaeras.Certainly I would be happy to pay for the postage.
