Yoo hoo
I'll be undertaking the pilgrimmage with my co-pilot "Re-sus". Reservation for tickets already confirmed as having arrived by the ACO. Not camping (lightweight tart), but staying in the maison secondiare about an hour out and travelling in.
I'm sure that there will be a get together, but I'll certainly be partaking of a beer (or two) and a pizza on Mulsanne for Friday lunchtime, enjoying the high-jinks before a pit walk.

April for Moto 24 stay at Spay, Prequal in June out for two weeks stay at Spay then move onto MB Monday midday ish (may have to shoot back for DTM)back Monday night after 24 about Midnight ish Booked last year before 07 race ferries pre booked via SeaFrance have carnet so pre pay for 10 crossings at a time..Until my schedule is sorted for next year dates for DTM,WTCC,A1GP, F1 GP Silverstone and Brit GT its all speculation once those dates are scheduled I can see what time is available for travel. Lets start the list!

myself and a mate i work with are going down, probably leaving blighty on the wednesday afternoon from Lincoln.
i've registered an interest for camping at either Karting Nord or Houx with 1st tickets, when they get back to me i'll book.
unfortunatly i don't have a high powered job or large salary so unless i win the lottery before then (inwhich case it'll be a Ford GT cos i love em) we'll be comming down in either a VW passat estate or ford Mondeo estate depending on which car we get given by the company when they are in March 08.
to be honest i'd travel down on the back of a motorbike aslong as i could get there, i can't bloody wait as it'll be my first year

I'll be there, went this year but abandoned it after a short while and buggered off to the nurburgring in my mates murci thanks to the weather and us having a change of heart and fancying more driving and less loafing around getting pissed.
Possibly going with the missus or if I can persuade her, racing isn't her thing so I'll inevitably have to tie it in with a holiday to a chateau of some sort. Then again, as she's crap at directions in her local town I can probably wangle a couple of laps of nurburgring too and convince her it's en route.
Dare say I'll be driving the skyline down next year, had planned to this year but ran out of time and had the oppertunity to go down in a lambo, driving part of the way and back so jumped at it.
Not sure where to stay, but it won't be houx this year, prefer somewhere a bit more pleasant and less of the pissed up brits collective hitting everything with supersoakers and so on. suggestions on the back of a postcard...

I think it depends how robust your child is and how well they sleep with noise around and when you're planning to go! Cheers!
All of the campsites will be noisy at night pretty well all of the week, if you're unlucky it will be very noisy but more often not too bad if your lad sleeps well! (tip - get some noise practice in at home!)
It's likely to be very hot - or very wet but that's not a huge problem with decent kit.
Toilets are a bigger problem as there are usually queues for the gents; the ladies (on MB anyway) doesn't usually have a huge queue and I doubt many people would have a problem with you taking a small child to the front of the queue. You might want to think about a portaloo or even a potty for your tent though.
I think it's do-able but if it's just you and your lad you might feel that you miss out on a lot of what goes on during the evenings if you need to put him to bed? Depending on the site you'd have to watch him running and playing out as there are all sorts of nob-heads who drive around the sites like dicks who are probably not going to see a small child.
I don't think the journey is a huge problem dependant on where you start from the UK I suppose. It's about five hours from Calais to LM with a couple of stops, there are plenty of places you could stop off en route for an overnight stop.
You could consider staying at Spay which is a municiple campstie about 5k away from the circuit, if you search on here you'll find some threads. The upside is that it's a proper campsite and will be quieter, the downside is you'd lose having a base at the circuit to go back to and crash for a couple of hours when it gets too hot (or too wet...) to stay around the track.
Hi well a group of us from Hampshire are planning on returning for the first time in SIX years !we seem to have lost our way somewhat in recent years with other projects and women 
but now we have seen the light again .
We are all seasoned Le Mans vet's ( 10 and plus visits for most ) so we know whats in store , but this time we will try and bring a few cars , Caterham , Stag , etc instead of the 7 ton lorry and sofas to tow around the camp sites on the Sunday night
i am sure some old timer's remember us

speedchill definitely worth while, great base [especially if it rains again]. also just had permission from her who must be obeyed so will book as soon as dates confirmed. coming down from lancs in a westfield and probably a couple more tagging along.May take in an extra day or two but will have to see how things go.

All booked up, 8 of us heading to Karting Nord for the 4th year. I'm going over for a week this time to get in scrutineering early in the week, not so sure about everyone else.
As much as I'd like to have waited for WRR & PH to announce something the BSJ site is just too far to wander to the Village.
