Cerbs, you GOTTA love 'em
Discussion
Went to Brands yesterday to watch the TVRCC sprinting lot & decided to head for home via Sevenoaks/Tonbridge.
I joined the A21 at Sevenoaks to be greated 200yards later by stationary traffic !
3.7 miles and an hour & a quarter later (with engine running the whole time)
I left the traffic !
Oil pressure never dropped below 50, water temp never went over ??? (I REALLY need to get that fixed), no steam, no drama & clutch still working fine.
I on the other hand was not fine & found the closest pub for a pint & a cool down !
Among the overheating/broken cars we passed were an E-class Merc, a Clio, a VW camper & a Renault Traffic....
Cerbera - the PERFECT allrounder !

Not all Cerberas were built on Friday 5.30pm knocking off time!
I know when we went to pick our Cerb up the traffic on route back was

Plus with all the stories on here that I have read made me a bit

All I can say is it was like a walk in the park for her.
Made me a bit
"I SAY ol' BEAN"3 months later of several traffic jams, Sunday drivers, Holiday makers and all other things that hold our little monsters back from doing the pace that they love doing, I feel 101%
confident

trust me, the cerbera is better in a bad traffic jam than a gallardo, the gallardo was like a snorting angry bull in traffic, the longer in a jam, the more it would insist on stalling, no matter what revving or not-revving technique you tried, had to drive slowly in hard shoulder to get out of the situation as opposed to imminent overheating breakdown. get worried with the cerb in traffic when watching water temp, as my minds telling me "hang on, we're at 10X deg celcius here, doesnt water boil at 100? hope theres good additive in there..."
but somewhere just over the 100 mark the car semms to pull itself together and fan itself back down to the 90 odd range, other posts ive seen on here confirm this, in the long term i hope to think about some kind of improved cooling setup, for now ill just use the best coolant I can find (motul inugel)

What happens to the clutch when the rest gets hot?
