Hooked up with my "commuting buddy" this am, and we both gave it the beans from about 5 leps up to 140. Anyone wanna guess the outcome?!

(ps - newbies or BIB, this was on a private track close to the A12, and completed in a controlled environment).

pps Wolly Cardigan or whatever your name is....We at PH HATE speeders.

Mate, I would have done, poor little blighters!

There was nothing in it...Not a bean. I would have thought he would have slowly crept away. Are the ZX10's down on power compared to the R1's or Blades?

ZX10`s are the punchiest of the lot...could have been short shifting I suppose to keep the bars from kicking/wheelying...like you saw...not much in it...80-160 might be more telling of any differences perhaps

You didn't accidently hit the kill switch did you wink ?

I would have thought the ZX10 would have taken you to be honest - the one I tested has a really strong top end, I mean seriously fast!

I guess most bikes are pretty similar up to a point...?

Rob.

That's what I would have thought. I remember at Snetts (on the R6)the 1000's getting past me on the straights, and I had to work hard to get them under braking or in a corner here and there. But this 750 seems to have the grunt to stay with them.

Now then, Power commander and upgraded brakes seems to be the way forward. Any other cheap'ish tricks to upgrade the power without theinsurance company needing to know?

I have to say the main guy I ride with has the same bike as you and it's pretty damn fast - he has a different can but that's all. I think any mod's you make will only provide a few extra HP so not really worth it unless you have the cash to simply splash? You'll not really be in with a chance of catching the thous I doubt but then the 600's and 750's are all about the corners...

If you feel you lack power then there's only "1" answer isn't there!?

You R1 of those people who will need to think about what you can do to increase the power of your bike. Mods you can do to your bike R
