Nice one Andy - just waiting for Daftlad to say - very nice just a pity it is a Yank lump!

I might have to come and watch a race when I get a chance.

Absolutely stunning - what's the plan for future outings? Looks like it needs to be seen/heard in the flesh

Andy,
Where did you finish? I saw Fluxy fly past you which must have been disheartening.
He took me out in a 4.0 Griff in the early 90's after he'd won the Tuscan Challenge with Team Central and he is a nutter - nearly treble figures sideways down some narrow sideroads in Brum. Great driver but scared me sh1tless.
Would have took a picture but Darren drove off just as I arrived. Had to shhot after the start oif the Britcar as had a do to go to Saturday night and you'd packed up and gone on Sunday.

That really does look nice. And I can appreciate all the work that's gone into it. Superb. Good luck with it on track - hope is runs as well as it looks smile

Also, I very much doubt many people truely understand how much goes into creating something like this from almost scratch. And I mean in terms of COST and The Person doing its actual time. So much research goes on that you would have a hard time in justifying if this was just handed over to a 3rd party to do.

MEGA.

It wasn't disheartening at all, as we only had half throttle at the time - the stop on the loud pedal unwound itself in both races giving only a 45 degree opening with the foot to the floor.

We finished 14th having started 20th - without my gravel excursion 10th was possible. Without the throttle problem, who knows!

Under the circumstances we were very pleased with the car straight out of the box. We could nail the Porsches through every corner and under brakes, but we had no power on exit due to the throttle problem. It is a quick fix though, and with a decent set up on the car and the softer compound tyres that the other Sags were using, there is a massive amount of speed to come from the car, for very little additional work

We are using the AJP by the way:

Why do all the racing Sags seem to have V8s?

Because they are rebodied and re-engineered Tuscan Challenge cars...

Sorry Andy, just spotted your problem on the TVRCC site!
I did notice the Tivs weren't braking through the corners either at all or very little in comparison to EVERYONE else.
Good to see the Tivs mixing it though.
I hate Silverstone as a spectator unfriendly circuit but the TVR's were the draw, otherwise I'd not have gone.
