Not me, a mate of mine.

He's decided to try and re-capture his youth, and wants to start by replacing on of the many Lambrettas he had, but is struggling to find anything locally that's up to scratch. He's after a Series 3, ideally a SX 200, SX 150, Li 150 Special.

If I were looking for a 'bike' I'd go to both of these sites however you'll find that they might do scooters too smile
www.biketrader.co.uk or www.motorcyclenews.com

hehe yeah similar comments were made - but I let him off as he's incredibly vertically challenged (do Ducati's come with step ladders yet?) getting on a bit and his missus wants the Lambretta.

sjtscott cheers, think he's been scouting those already but with little success.

Once a year there's a Lambretta rally that runs past my house - and every year the laybys are all full of the ones that broke down along the way!!

There was a guy who had a stand at the Goodwood Revival meet who specialised in vintage Vespa/Lambretta scooters............had some very rebuilt nice ones (if there is such a thing biggrin) for sale there, and had his website address plastered up everywhere, but as I no interest in them I can't recall what it was now.......wink

If anyone still has a Goodwood Revival programme it should be listed in the traders location map.

I will email a mate who might just have kept his programme......?

There's a local place in Nottingham that specialise in old Lambrettas and Vespas, spares 'n stuff, normally they have quite a few restored ones for sale, maybe worth an enquiry smile

LOL he phoned me about the Lambretta's about an hour or so after I returned from Goodwood - I've been trying to find out who they were since biggrin

If you have any joy I'd appreciate a nod.

Just had an email from him, and he's looked through the traders listing in the programme (twice) and can't find any reference, even though I was able to describe where abouts the stand was to make it easier......sorryfrown

Guy at Goodwood is called Des & runs a shop called 'Gransport' in Birmingham.
'Scootering' magazine has loads of ads for Lambretta's or try Scootertrader.com.
