Hi.
Have just had a 12k service and very pleased with how the car feels etc, but it now pops and bangs less on overrun (I have Offords cherry bombs). What has caused this?

Somehow the car is being more efficient with the fuel perhaps?

Could a new fuel filter do that?

Pops usually caused by airleaks in the front of the exhausts or poor setting on the AFM, that may have been corrected

No, I have the Offords Cherry Bombs conversion, so pops n bangs are intentional!

Just keep driving, it will come back.
I've had my cherries in for about 19k miles now, i get more and louder pops and bangs than ever. It is more noticable after i have just filled up on VPower, or when the engine/exhaust has had an hour or so of warming up.

Yes i've had mine for a few thousand miles, and they were getting louder and more frequent, but now much less frequent since the service.

Odd - I've got the Racing Green loud conversion (straight through pipes) and it got louder and more poppy/bangy after its service. Normaly there's no pops/bangs till its warm, but post service it did it pulling out of the garage.
