Whats the deal with dealer/independent/after market warranties?

Can you extend the original dealer warrantee, have one applied to old car, which non dealer warranties are worth more than the paper etc...

surely if youve got the money to buy a ferrari you dont need to worry about who pays for fixing it.

Give that man a slap for being silly.............

At the moment Ferrari power warranties are under review for cars out of the manufacturers warranty.......not sure about aftermarket substitutes.

Most aftermarket warrantys are expensive, have lowish claims limits and really arent worth the paper they are written on.I believe the best way to run a car like this is to do your homework, buy the best car you can afford, and keep a few grand to one side in case of emergencies!
