if you dont like the bs that goes with the Millions, dont sign up to it. he knows the score with sponsors and corparate bandwagons etc.

also by all means be your own man and dont dance to the company tune, but how about being cool to the fans, a wave here and there doesn't realy cut it some blokes work in a factory or a foundry all day to earn the money to buy your caps, so a thought in that direction might not go amiss

Not bad but given his previous (pre 1996) i would expect him to be on a faster learning curve than JPM

I disagree with you.

JPM last raced on ovals in 2000.

JV is on a similar training schedule to JPM's last year ie. the ABCs AKA ARCA, Busch and Cup races

JV is driving for Toyota who have only just started this year so they've basically been testing.

JV drives for Bill Davis Racing, which is a midfield back of the grid team.

Note - even though Ganassi is a name in US motorsport, their NASCAR team is a midfield/top-10 car. The big teams in NASCAR are Hendrick (eg. Jeff Gordon), Rousch and Joe Gibbs Racing (eg. Tony Stewart)

JV was 3rd fastest in the draft on day 2 of testing. carnt wait for next season and we are not even at the end of a great 2007 season yet

I'm not sure much can be read into testing times at Talladega, given the nature of the place and the fact it is a plate race. Looking forward to seeing how the COT races there though.
