Hi

Anyone ever jacked up their G? I have looked in the manual and cannot find it in there.

Also looked under the car which is looking like my trolley jack will not fit under it btw and cannot be sure exactly where to jack it?

Help!

I cant remember exactly where to jack it, but when I had a puncture as the car was on my drive I borrowed a jack from Lambo HW to take home so I could jack it and get the wheel off and over to the tyre gaff. They showed me a jacking point which was in the middle of the car from the rear. IIRC it was the subframe just beyond the gearbox casing the juts out at the rear. Call your local Lambo Dealer and ask them

Did the jack go under the car easily and was it a trolley jack you used Mosi?

Thanks

Same advice I got Mosi, not forgetting to add a bit of something to cushion between jack and subframe, but couldn't get a trolley jack under there with a rear puncture!

It was a trolley jack that Lambo HW lent me. It was bloomin tight getting it under, but obviously as it was one of their jacks it fitted smile

I dont think you'd get one of those boggo car jack things under there.

Lambo Owners arent supposed to be doing these manual labour things you know biggrin

I'm a pen pusher but when it comes to my baby I don't mind getting a 'little' dirty.

So you jacked up from the rear of the car?

Yep, from the rear and in the centre of the car - have a look under there, there is a flat plate on the subframe that is the only logical place to jack the car from.

Hi Guys,

Jacked mine up several times. You wont get under the front with a standard trolley jack (I had to take the angle grinder to mine to get it to work). But jacking points as confirmed by the lambo techs are:

Front: if you look at the rear section of the front wheel arch liner, at the bottom you'll see a Torq fixing screw. The jacking point is directly underneath this.

Rear: Jack dirctly under the gearbox onto the square cross beam.

Hope this helps.

Andy.

Miyagi. At the risk of teaching you to suck eggs... loosen the effected wheels nuts before you use the jack, make sure the car is in gear AND you've chocked a wheel to prevent it from moving. You can't be too carefull when you're doing things yourself.

Other than that, it really is straight forward stuff. Good luck, mate.

I would think you need a trolley jack with a low front, Machine Mart seem to sell a really neat one that I was thinking of getting about £80 I think.
Good luck

Damn, I knew you guys loved your cars, but....
Well I suppose it's better to do it your self than pay a man to do it for you hehe

Normal trolley jack and a couple of planks of wood works with most cars...
