Audi 2.5 TDi Emissions Light On
Discussion
Just got back from a 3000 mile hoon around Europe in the A4 Cab, and less than 1/2 mile from home, the yellow engine (emissions) light popped on.
There's a module on the RH side of the engine (looking at the front of the car) just in front of the oil filler. This module is part of the induction system, and there's a 3" pipe going from below it to the turbo. From the LH side of it there's castings that feeds the cylinders of each bank. Since the emission light has been on, this module now makes a clicking noise for a couple of seconds when the ignition/engine is turned off.
So could this be the reason the light is on? If so WTF is it?
