Is there a way of increasing the delay between unlocking the car and the immobiliser turning back on. By the time I unlock the car, prat about for a few seconds, and then squeeze my slim frame in, the damb immobiliser is back on. Is there an adjustment potentiometer, resister, capacitor etc I can change? Any idea who makes the box?

This drives me mad too.
Sounds like a question for Carl Baker.

Having just replaced the imobiliser, if there is a way of changing this setting it isn't mentioned in the manual and there wouldn't seem to be any means of changing it.

Sorry.

Can't say that this has ever been a problem....

Try reaching in and turning the ignition on prior to getting in?

I'm sure there's something about the delay period being that short for Thatcham reasons, not that it has Cat 1 Status.

The standard fitment is a Meta M99T alarm with an M36T immobiliser. Later models may have M99T2 & M36T2 which have minor wiring differences.

??

Get large behind into car, press immob button, press ignition. Seems simple enough.

How many calories will you save by not pressing immob button? Boy you must be skinny to worry about thatsmile

Hey, it works. Blip alarm, open door, press ignition button and get in at my leisure. Great, thanks chaps.
