Yeah, an old subject, but a goodun.
Need to change my front disks and thought i'd use the opportunity to up the brakes. Currently got 253 vented on the front and 260 solid on the rear. Got a few questions for anybody who can be bothered to enlighten me:
1. will bigger disks at the front increase stopping power or unbalance the set up?
2. can i use the same calipers on the front with bigger disks?
3. can i keep the same calipers on the rear if i change to vented, ie is it possible to widen them to accomodate the wider vented disks?
4. What are all the 'nightmare' storries about drilled disks about, what's wrong with them?
