Valve looking thingy?

Evenin' does anyone know what task the zinc plated valve looking thing at the back of the fuel rail, closest to the bulkhead ,is please ( my guess is a pressure release of some sort? is it supposed to have a pipe coming off it please? sorry don't know how to post a picture

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator.. It connects to the fuel rail & has a feed from the pump & return to the tank (for the excess fuel). There is also a vacuum to the plenum if you have a posh one

As it sits on the fuel rail, i assume it already has the fuel feed and return so the little spout bit , (facing in the same way as the throttle opening)is the bit that should have a pipe connected to it which is the vacuum, is that correct?

It goes from the fuel regulator to the stepper motor housing...about 3 or 4mm dia tube.

Hello again Spend, could you confirm where this vacuum connects please ,as the only place i can see is on the stepper motor housing? by the way i have a serp motor, Cheers
