It's the "Our technical team has been notified" that tickles me - they must be floundering under a mountain of notifications biggrin

What's going on? I've found this other motoring website where people talk plain, but most importantly, it WORKS!!!

C'mon chaps, it's been like this for weeks now. Obviously it's become socially unacceptable to keep the hamsters fed up on speed, but can't you just get some extra hamsters?

With treble the number of users since January.

Just strikes me as a little bit off to complain about a facility which is provided free of charge to its consumers.

True, but if we're to take the official line at face value then the marketing machine of Haymarket have caused a massive upturn in hits and perhaps PetrolTed's fine home-rolled forum system isn't as scaleable as it could be.

Edit: Plotty beat me to it.

I sort of agree, but without us all consuming PH free of charge there would be no advertising revenue, and I guess the site would have had little value to Haymarket.

I also reckon that the increased number of users is perhaps the expected / desired result of the extra advertising of PH, so shouldn't really have come out of the blue.

The moment that Haymarket want to get rid of a majority of the regular PHers and destroy their investment, I guess.
