Servicing - West Yorkshire

I am the recent proud owner of a Chimaera 400 and having smiles of fun with it.

The Chim is now due a service. Can anyone recommend a good dealer/independant garage in the West Yorkshire(ish) area. I live in Wakefield.

What sort of cost should I expect to pay for a 12K mile service?

Don't know about Yorkshire, but if you don't mind going to Lancashire there are a few indies, ex factory, there. I user Automedon in Poulton le Fylde, who are excellent. See their website for prices.

Tappo, depends what you want, but I use A&G Autos in Hipperholme.
Good local garage, sensible cash prices. For standard servicing they are spot on. Got experience of V8's.
I’ve had other stuff done there like radiator replacement, thermostat and otter switch etc.
Cost for a £12k service.... not a lot, depends what you want. I usually have them check over brake and clutch fluid etc, an oil and filter change, new plugs, plus anything else needed. I get them to use Millers CFS 15w/60. Better and cheaper than Mobil 1 (in my opinion).

There are a couple in North Yorks if you don't mind a bit of a run out, Drivestyle (former HHC) in Harrogate clicky linky and SSSSSSS&C in Boroughbridge clicky linky 2.

I get mine serviced by Ian at IK Classics. They are based at Jackson Bridge, Huddersfield. They've always done a first class job for me and the prices are reasonable.
