Lamborghini Engine on Ebay
Discussion
yep - that's certainly one of the boat engines!
...and whilst they may break a lot, they seem to have been able to hold together well enough to win numerous Class 1 World Championships for boats using them - often with a British throttle man, (Steve Curtis MBE) doing the vital work.
(banging of names falling to the floor time: I met Steve at his office in Chelsea once when he was trying to get LCUK bods along to watch a C1 race near Plymouth and also briefly at the Lamborghini 40th Anniversary event in 2003, clang, clang, clang...)
So, that engine's probably not a total pile of rubbish then but I'm sure that £3,500 would be much less than 20% of what it would cost to make it run right in some boat or other if you were to buy it!
