Just a quick notice - Super Paper Mario for Wii out now!

Since this forum is dominated by anything to do with the Xbox360, I thought I would try to balance it a little. Super Paper Mario for the Wii is out now (well from Amazon at least). Its a cracking game and has been well received in the gaming press....

I'm still playing Mario Kart 64 after downloading it a few weeks ago, there are some brilliant games to download on the Wii when your not looking at porn.

Yeah my copy should arrive today, quite looking forward to settling down with that, the dialogue is usually really funny on the paper mario games.

How do you get to browse the net on the wii? I've got it on-line (weather/news etc) but can't find a browser. Also is it expensive to download games? I would love Mario 64!!

You should have an internet channel - this runs a version of Opera and can be used to browse the web.

I can't remember what I had to do to enable it but it was pretty straightforward via the menus - a download was required though.

Yeah the download was free until the end of July I think, now you have to pay for it, it's available on the Wii Shopping channel and there is an option there for games or system updates I think. Just been home to check if my copy arrived and it's now sat on my desk so will get some time in on it over the weekend.

It's fuggling awesome, been hooked on it over the weekend, snatching a go here and there when I can, onto the space level at the moment and really enjoying it.

I really like it. Just finished level 3 with the house / fleas / gerbils.

Good stuff. Enjoying the puzzles and the 2D/3D flickery trickery.

Are there any clever moves using the new control system?

Not really, you use the wiimote like a torch to activate secret areas, and shake / wobble it to activate some items.

Otherwise it's just cursors, (A), (1) and (2).

Works well tbh.

Was going to get this, but i'm saving my pennies for Halo 3, after Ive finished with Halo 3 (in about 4 years time if halo 2 is anything to go by!) then I'll pick this up in the bargain bins.
