Ask on locostbuilders.co.uk, the escort was the original donor so they'll know all about them.

In what way are you wanting to ID them? Ratios, LSD?

I have three sat around, and two of them have 4/5 link brackets and want to move them on to help pay for an axle for the next project.

No standard Escort axle I know of came with 4/5 link brackets as I'm pretty sure even the World Rally Cars still had leaf springs, so would say they've been modified.

Ford's axle ID used to be a metal tab secured by one of the diff bolts, but they tend to rust up or vanish over time.

Would have thought you'd be able to sell them via Pratical Performance Car magazine as Escorts are still popular tuner cars.

As long as you know they're Escort axles rather than Anglia, Capri or Mk1/2 Cortina then I reckon the only other info people will want is ratio and whether they have an LSD.
