standard wheels are 18" not 17", dunno if that makes a difference? I'm still going to fit 255s on the rear but I think I'll leave the fronts as 235s after reading this.

I understand that the GTO (US only edition) were fitted standard with 17" wheels, optional 18" unlike Oz and UK with 18" standard.
