I’m in Manchester in a few weeks time can someone recommend a restaurant?

We would have a fairly eclectic taste in food, but are father fond of good Italian food

Felicini's is a high-class Italian chain, I really love their food, go there often. There's a branch in Didsbury and another in town, near to the Bridgewater Hall.

Had you considered the Hilton tower? Had a truly excellent lunch there a few months ago.

Fraid that's about my limit for reccs - you're both too far west and too high budget-wise for anywhere I've been smile

You are joking surely ?

If it's Italian you are after try San Carlos or Numero.
French - Brasserie Blanc or The New Bouchon which is very well priced
English - Simply Heathcotes

The restaurant at Harvey Nichols is good too.

Italian? Why not Cocotoo's down the arches from the Cornerhouse on Whitworth Street? Must admit it has been a while since i went last but was regular back then but it was top notch.

Depends on perspective, I suppose. I do like their food.

Numero is in a casino.

Stock. Stunning interior, food even better. Takes a bit of finding though...
