NIP has to be 'served' within 14 days of the offence. Served means posted out by them (idiotic I know).

www.pepipoo.com if you want to fight it. Good luck.

Just logged on to pepipoo quite useful stuff on there but i am guilty and have been to court once before to contest parking offences. The whole court experience is not something i want to go through again. Lost income from work, having to wait in a room with the scum of society, then being fined and charged court costs. I left with no faith in the legal system anymore. Did make the local paper though.

Ok.

Trousers down and bend over. The law is greased up with gritty Swarfega and ready for penetration.

Enjoy.

You weren't really - and to be done for 69 means your speedo would have likely been showing low 70's.

It's annoying, but I made sure I was with an insurance company that doesn't care about such things (Frizzell) so as long as I don't get caught more than once a year it's no more serious than a parking ticket.

Don't the points stay on the license for three years, five for insurance purposes. I know three isn't bad but it's a start. Large fine would be better points for the more serious stuff and only for a year.

If you can afford to pay a bigger fine, there's no deterrent... In fact, speeding would be fun for the rich.

Just for you then No Court, but a letter with a Conditional Offer - Pay 60 notes and have 3 points entered on that licence.

Don't get over excited by that website. Had a decent read in the last week and whilst it offers good explanation of the law, it clearly just offers false hope to people who will be found guility if they challenge.
I'm never excited about anything to do with the law. Pepipoo provides useful info on what the law is and what your rights are in given circumstances. It also is a good portal to get to good rated lawyers for further advice or representation.

Our friend wants to fess. In fact, he did fess. He just wants to beat the problem away with a bag of money... just as long as his license remains point-less. Pointless.

Wish i had a bag of money just spent the week of work using up holiday time owed, can't afford to go any where so £60 hurts quite a lot.
And unlike our friend Clarkson it's unlikely I'll be hiring a top lawyer to clear me.
