Just bought one of those lovely Ali rear hatch handles that were fitted to later Sags (and probably 350s as well). But it's expecting the securing bolts to come from underneath the hatch where at the moment they go top down into the latch that secires the hatch.

Anyone else tried to do this - and done it successfully?

Not tried but I'd like to. Where did you get the handle?

TVR Power has them in stock but I suspect that if you have a pre '06 car you will have to change the latch underneath as well - I'll find out Monday when I talk to them.

Not done it for mine, but its easy to modify, so the socket caps screws can be used as per the later ones

Hi,

I fitted one to my 05 Sag. I didn't change the inner latch, just drilled out the holes so that a stainless alan head bolt could sit flush.
