2 Weeks in hospital due to crashing tuscan big style

Ive now come out from hospital after being in for 2 weeks due to large crash in my tuscan.Simple really laid power on too soon rear end went wild lost control BANG BANG BANG. Im on the mend now but wish i could say same for the car which ive had for 12 months as it is a complete write off.I do hope fellow tuscaners read this and be careful never under estimate what the car can do,ive always respected my tuscan and only used the loud pedal when safe to do so.

Sod the car...it's just metal and fibreglass and can be replaced if it can't be fixed - you can't!
I know (sort of) how you feel - I had an 'off' some five months after getting mine and was getting complacent with the right pedal. I haven't since!
I was lucky - it was just the car.
You were less lucky - but at least you're here to post about it.
It's so easy to forget how quickly these cars can bite - be it road conditions / driver misjudgement / whatever - doesn't matter for you now!
Glad you're on the mend.

Dad this last year in the cerb, not a nice time to go through, and plus they chucked him out f the hospital on the same night not being able to walk, speak, or breath properly, TOSSERS!
Glad to hear you're on the mend, couldn't give two shits about the car even it is another one off of the road. Get well soon!

Martin sounds like your on the mend mate which is good, the death of a car although your PJ is easier to comprehend then the death of you.
Now and then I find myself getting quite cocky with the back end, after reading this I think its time to calm it a little.

Two weeks in hospital, jesus, thats serious, whats the plan now, are you gonna replace the Tuscan with another or maybe a little change perhaps?Thanks chaps im on the mend now.
Not sure what to get next maybe a saggy hehe, only joking im taking a time out from fast cars for a while as my crash really shook me up a bit.

The road was bone dry,prior to the crash i just filled her up with fuel five minutes before i crashed the boys in blue reconed i had oil on rear tyres from the garage.
And yes i have had rear wheel drive car before.I use to have a lotus elise.
So please please please be careful chaps and never take under estimate the mighty tuscan.I am really gutted with myself it would have not have seemed so bad if it was not my fault but it was .

When you submit your insurance claim (re: the other thread) you might want to state that the police suspect the crash was due to oil on the tyres from a petrol forecourt and in no way do they suspect the accident being caused by a fault with the car - of which there wasn't any of course.
Mmm..put a Griffith in a field backwards (at high speed) many years ago. All my fault. Still here to talk about it. Lesson well learnt. Since owned two other Griffiths a Sagaris and now a Tuscan. Generally now drive the cars well within their (my) limits. Glad you've lived to drive another day.
