Hi all, About to check my rear brakes when I noticed the O/S hub nut looked loose so got the 41mm socket to nip it up but it looks like the threads have gone as it spins on the hub. Can anyone tell me where to get a new one from as the local Ford dealer don't stock them anymore.
Presumably it'll have wiped out the thread on the stub axle too?
as above, and it may have been cross threaded when fitting so even if the thread looks good you might have problems starting the nut onto the thread and end up doing the same again.
I know how you feel did the same a while back wasted a lot of time at dealers and breakers yards.Only TVR carparts came up trumps about 80 quid delivered hope this helps.
