Dean, your paddock pass gave you access to most areas mate (inc the pit lane etc prior to the race). I dont think many of you found the Team Modena corporate hospitality tent either (free drinks/food etc!)
doh ! didnt realise that

We tried to get access to the pit lane, showed our passes but the dude on the door 'he said no!!'
You needed to access through the Team Modena garage (we were there as their Guests after all)
Never mind, I will get the whole thing much slicker next time

What a truly fantastic day, great weather, fantastic drive down to Leicester (apart from a suicidal squirrel!), enjoyable blat to Watford Gap and then smile inducing drive ot the circuit in the company of great cars, really friendly welcome from everone we got chance to say hi to, brilliant passes and some awesome racing too.
Thanks Steve for making this happen
Tim, hope you got a few pics of the drive down
A few pics to add to Doug's, think I need to invest in a zoom lense or at least load an editing programme!
Meet up

GT40, yum

Paddock parking

Never had so many people stood round my car................looking at Andy's parked next door!

Our team

Spotted Graham early on and enjoyed having a look round before the rabble arrived

That is some machine

We somehow ended up standing on the pit wall for the early presentations

Was v.funny how they ran off at the end of the national anthem each time, but they still got soaked

Peugeot's looked fun

And fast

Walked the whole circuit and watched the 911 exit the main straight backwards, close followed by a 430 doing a 360, or was it a 360 doing a 430?

15:30 and Team Modena was locked in a great battle with another Aston, Darren Turner had got past and as the other Aston tried to keep up, it was dumped in the gravel near Luffield

And conveniently dumped a load of oil on the corner

We stayed till 4 as kids had to be collected, but would have stayed till the end to see Team Modena get 2nd in class
if we could have done
part timers

Topless all the way to the Yorkshire border, when surprise surprise.....it rained!
Strangest sight? The pit girls being trained how to walk!
