Good luck !

All you need to do now is make sure the garage is ready for the build........

Say goodbye to any spare time / money / knuckle skin.

Oh, and you might like to learn a few more swear words, you WILL need them. wink

Are you going to be blogging your build as you go along by any chance?

I'm thinking of doing the MX5 build at some point as well when I have space! Do you mind me asking approximately what kind of price range the Westfield kit part of the project cost?

Yes i will be doing a build diary thing for the car.

So far i have spent £7050 from westfield thats for the chassis kit completion kit and some extras (see spec on first post) and £1500 on the donor car. I have done the donor the expensive way. I have gone to a company called MX5 heaven who are supplying all the required bits to me on a pallet. They come from a road going car they are cleaned tested and come with a years guarantee from the day your cars registered. They have found me a low millage '93 car that they are stripping for the parts. Other than that iv spent a bit on some stainless steel nuts and bolts and thats about it.

Im looking to spend no more than 9k on the car, but you could do the build for a lot less if your prepared to put the time in and sort your own donor car out ad not upgrade some of the parts on the westfield.

Hope that helps
