Suspension Feedback
Discussion
Hi People,
A Quick question about tire / suspension feedback...
I've seen a few articles etc from people saying that full race bikes dont give much feedback unless you are really pushing the bike due to the stiffness of the frame/supension/bushes etc etc.
Anyone care to elaborate on that? A mate who has an MV F4 1000 mentioned that his bike lacked feedback until he started pushing it and then it came into its own.
My TLR has totally different suspension plus polybushes on all suspension joints and it too feels really vague unless you really take it by the scruff of the neck..
So any wise words of wisdom on this?
cheers,
Nick

Nick,
Me and just about everyone I know use a guy called Darren from MC Technics in stowmarket. He's an ex supersport champ and now specialises in suspension set-up. He duid my R6, and the difference was amazing, it really was. He'll get to grips with the type of riding you do, your weight etc, etc an set the bike up accordingly.
Let me know if you want his number.
Cheers.
ps - £75 per set-up.

thanks for the reply..
Yeah if you've got his number that would be great.. Its great having all this aftermarket suspension malarkey with more adjustment than NASA but it does make getting it feel right very tricky..
£75 doesnt sound half bad
cheers,
Nick
Here you go gents.

s I've said, Darren knows what he's talking about. Oh, and christ can he ride!! He's still involved in racing today, but from the pits setting the suspension up for the team.... something like that.
