My Falco fell off its goddamn shitty sidestand on my driveway a few weeks ago. The sidestand adjuster was in the workshop waiting for my lazy arse to fit it. Lesson learned.

Anyhoo - the bike came off remarkably well, not a mark on the tank, frame or casings, just snapped brake lever and some light scratches to belly pan plastics but, some slightly deeper scratches to the upper fairing plastic.

Is it possible to have these repaired? My bike is an uber-rare colour and the chances of plastics turning up on eBay are precisely nil. God only knows how far Aprilia would bend me over for a new set - simply not an option.

TIA smile

Well the scratch is only about 2 inches long and about half an inch high, not big at all. But, it fell on warm tarmac with bits of grit and is consequently quite deep.

So plastics repair is possible then? Can't say I know anything about it myself as I've never had to consider it before...
