Mansory Makes Bentley Think It’s A Boat
German tuner launches limited-run Bentley bodykit
Dedicated to what they reckon is “high end tuning and individualisation to match the lifestyle of British nobles”, eccentric German customiser Mansory has just created this wide-body kit for the Bentley GTC.
Called the Le MANSory – see what they’ve done there – the company will make just 24 kits for Bentley owners who find the standard convertible’s looks a bit too conservative. Audi-style daytime running lights feature upfront, while wide-body carbonfibre sideskirts give the car a lower stance. The bodykit is finished with a rear diffuser and spoiler combo, and 22-inch forged lightweight rims.
Under the bonnet, an ECU upgrade and stainless exhaust boost power to 641bhp and torque to 575lb-ft from just 1,600rpm. Top speed is 205mph, which is reigned in by massive 412mm Brembo discs and 6-piston callipers up front.
As for the interior, leather and aluminium abound, all emblazoned with the Mansory logo. Colours are completely down to the owner’s “taste”.
I find the current looks of the GT and GTC to be too smooth and boring, be more like a Lexus, than something as classy as the older Bentleys, even something as (relatively) modern as an Arnage or Azure is 100 times nicer than the VW GT/GTC (ooops I forgot they were still Bentleys)
I would happily own the Mansory GTC, have it painted BRG or Black, one colour only for the leather and no badges other than Bentley on it.
oh..those stupid LEDs on the front can go.
grrrr silly lights on nice cars are so horrible, I saw a Murcielago a couple of days ago, with strobe effect lights, its not as if it's a car that doesn't attract attention without silly lights, it just annoys me that someone with so much money, has such retarded taste.
