What they do?-- Waste petrol and shine the seats of their pants!

Yellow and black battenburg.....

What can they do? Enforcement-wise nothing. Otherwise, they'll make sure you're safely removed from the motorway, whether it's a simple breakdown or a live lane RTC. And other stuff like clearing debris from live lanes before people damage themselves.

Get big signs installed on the back stating "WE ARE NOT POLICE CARS - YOU DO NOT NEED TO SLAM YOUR BRAKES ON AND GO TO 60MPH ON THE MOTORWAY IN THE OUTSIDE LANE TO PASS US"

Well, that'd be nice, but you can't account for all idiots.........

My theory is the people who really slow down and won't go past, even at 60, are guilty of something - no tax/insurance etc.

What we need is unmarked plod following a HATO - easy pickings......

I've given tea/coffee in the cold dark winter, but that's probably against H&S rules.......
