Water zero switch - code C
Discussion
Hi all,
I am getting this fault code whenever I turn on the ignition along with the water temp dial "hunting" for its zero switch. All makes sense and points to the switch in the pod but has anyone had this and managed to fix it before? I am assuming I will need to take the pod out, which is not a problem, but just looking for any advice before I do that as to what to look for etc.
Cheers

Well, that's that sorted - took the pod out and when moving the water temp indicator by hand, I could feel that it was not hitting the microswitch (whereas I could feel the fuel indicator making/breaking its switch) so took a look and could see what looked like a screw thread in the way of the switch
- turned out it was one of the small silver screws that holds the metal plate that sits around the pod....must have worked itself loose with vibrations - no split washer etc...all sorted now.
Amazing some of the things that you find in these Tiv's!
