1000 hours community service to be completed by end of 2008 is more like it. Meaning? At a basic rate of £4.50 per hour, this would equate to him giving £4500 to the community. Not bad considering the tt couldn't ever pay anyone £4500.

100 hours is less voluntary work than I do in a year and I've been a good boy!

I am not after blood but a more proportionate sentence which could be rehabilitive in the long run.
