carboard cut out police man, at morrisons

Filled up at morrisons last night, was greeted by a cardboard cut out police man, (ANPR in operation or some such sign)

All well and good.

Except if I wore blue I wouldnt want that ugly, fat (Im talking pretty big here) melon headed, "menacing looking" goon in a uniform to be representative of me, or what I do.

anyone else seen em?

Yep they've been around for quite some time....look quite lifelike too and I guess they are supposed to warn off those with nefarious intent whilst in the store that Plod is on the look-out for them.

O/T a bit, Turkish police have quite realistic cardboard cut outs of traffic cop cars dotted around to slow peeps down...surprisingly they seem to work!
The sneaky so-and so's sometimes replace the cut outs with REAL ones every so often!
