How long does it take for the envelope to arrive on the mat if you've been nicked ?

From what I understand the NIP must be issued no more than 14 days after the date of the *alleged* offence for it to be legally enforceable. However, the vagaries of the postal system mean it could arrive at any time

Best off posting this kinda stuff on the Speeding, Plow and the Law forum.

God - I still couldn't get it right Take this as an object lesson in why cutting down on the amount you drink is a bad thing

As madcop has reminded me a few times . That is 14 days AFTER the offence. 15 days including the day of the offence.
