Anyone with experience of installing blacklines on the E91. My local dealer is asking for £230 fitted. Would they suit Le Mans blue?

They take 5 mins to swap a side, and you should be able to get 15% off from the parts dept. bringing them in at £140 ish.

Thanks for the reply. Did you buy from dealer? Did you fit them yourself? My dealer is insisting that the part/car needs to be recoded - not sure if this bs. Nice pic by the way - you not tempted to de-badge. I am getting my 335d de-badged for the stealth look.

excuse my ignorance but what are 'blacklines'?

(only I can't see any obvious difference between the picture and my standard 335i M Touring)

Hi,

I thought that - no diff from mine.

But its the white lenses - they look darker.

The regular lights have a red above the brake light...





They don't need coding, your dealer is talking crap, the only thing that is different is the lens, the wires and bulbs are the same, so why would it need coding?
They take under 10 minutes to swap as well and most dealers will do them fro around £140 after a bit of discount.
