Has anyone had their TV unlocked allowing passenger viewing on the move?

If so can you advise on cost??

Thanks for that - do you if the system goes back to default after a dealer service?

Heard a few tales about people paying out their £80 - £120 and after a service the TV is locked again.

I unlocked my own with a small program off ebay called bmwscan. Comes with a little interface and TV unlocking is only one of very many things it allows me to change on my E39 through the DS2 port on the car.

Nah this one's fine after service - give them a call and ask but my E46 M3 was fine....dont expect great picture quality on the move though its really a waste of money unless your doing up to 20mph on the m25!
