door wont open

hi all,
got a problem with the passenger door,when i pressed the button i was getting a click but the door would not open.
now i am getting no sound at all and it will not open,but i can from inside.
any ideas anyone.?

Might be the button on the miiror. Sometimes the wire to the back of the button breaks off and will need some soldering. Might be that?

Might be the door solenoid has died a death?

sounds like the solenoid was dying when you could hear the click, and is now dead.
