How do you remove the side repeaters?
Discussion
OK I know its an old thread but has anyone done this recently??
I have some lovely smoked side repeaters to fit but they appear to be designed for metal panels (i.e. 1mm thick - inconsiderate bstars)
is it just a matter of bodging with willpower, washers, sealant and some double sided sellotape (OK... the last bits a bit blue peter....)
or is there a trick that I'm missing?
(wouldn't be the first time...)

BERGS2 - I had a look at this today... didn't get very far though
Managed to get one side out after the best part of an hours careful fiddling about.
There are two clips that need to be pushed in from behind, but I'll be damned if I can find out where you can access them from inside the car!
However, I managed to get one side out... only to find that "universal" ones won't fit.. the connector that the bulb is held by is too big for the supplied repeater..
Will have another look next week...

dont get all this agro, mine took me 10 seconds. The click expanded inside the bodywork so gave it a strong shove in one direction and then eased out the reverse side that hadnt been pushed forward. left the internals in place, swapped the bulbs for coloured and screwed into into the new lense, and pushed back into bodywork. odd

Where are the expanded bits inside..? I can't find them anywhere?

Is it the Mark IV or Mark 6/7 ones that fit??? Will these be a straight swap?
Cheers
