I posted a topic that my 355 was for sale and it was immediately deleted yet one guy has his Sagaris up for sale thread ongoing as does a 420 SE. I then used the search button using "for sale" as the topic and loads of people have done what I did some including a link to the ad???? Is their rules for some and not others I mean "my Sag for sale" is not hard to spot is it! Or are people with Ferraris low down the pecking order on here?

Do what I did put "for sale" in the search forum then read all the topics and posts and you will see lots of people do it and have gotten away with it including links to their adverts, in future please try and be fair to all concerned as I said "my Sag for sale" is a pretty good clue!

Your thread was removed IIRC was because it was flagged up by someone seeing it and reporting it. I hope you understand there are many forums on here and many posts made so some do slip past as you have found but when they are seen action is taken.

No the one I mentioned above as being not his car, isn't even his friends car it's one of the many posts made highlighting a shockingly bad car, we get them on PH like Ebay gets them. Some posters see them, laugh at them because they are so bad and feel the need to point others in the same direction.
We provide a free and effective advertising service elsewhere on the site and that we ask that you don't advertise in the forums.
Those other people are discussing cars for sale which is usually genuine interest. That's why they're left up (and mainly because the original poster isn't the advertiser).
Given that you're getting a free ad elsewhere on the site, please understand why we don't want the forums filling up with people promoting their own cars.
