Just had a thought if your speed 6 engine has had enough, instead of a rebuild, can you stick the AJP in instead?

Probably easy enough, at least you know it's going to work ok. You could even go dry sump using the Speed 6 stuff. Having said that, there seem to be a number of ways to sucessfully rebuild the S6, so that'd probably be cheaper.

There are?

I thought the situation was still that there are several companies offering rebuilds ( Power, austec, Str8 six etc) but that while they offer a warranty no-one is claiming a 'fix' as no-one has done the millage as yet?

I'd like a Tuscan one day, but the engine problems mean for me it would need a transplant

The AJP idea is a good one, I don't know why TVR didn't offer it as an option at the time.

I understood the weight of a US lump was the problem as the SP6 is an alloy alloy engine.
