My recently aquired 350i is revealing more and more problems. In addition to the badly leaking radiator, blowing exhaust and worn out bushes, the passenger window has somehow come out of it's guides and now is stuck inside the door and will not come out! I will also need to have the doors re-hung as they have dropped. (can this be done?)
My question is, shall i just hand over the car to a garage and save my sanity? Tower view has a good website?? Before i phone does anyone have a rough idea as to what it would cost to sort the above out.

I have found Dave & Mark at Tower View very helpful and straight. They are a tad more expensive than other Midlands/Northern TVR specialists probably due to there London location & hence costs. They've quoted me in the past for re-setting the doors and other stuff though I can't remember the price it did seem reasonable. Dave helped me locate my knackered 350i as the basis of a project - vvv helpful. I still owe him a beer!GB
I would also recommend Towerview, both Dave and Mark are very helpful.
I do all my own mechanics and paid £150 for a rebuilt/upgraded rad, £375 for a loud stainless exhaust (BTW I have a couple of useable rear boxes you can have FOC - I live about 10 mins from TowerView) and a 2nd hand windows motor cost me £50.
Can't help you with the labour costs - but none of the jobs you mention are particularly tricky

I've had great service from Tower View, better than any other mechanics I've had for any car. They know I don't have a ton of cash, and are quite happy to try and save be a bit if they can. Replacing my front springs actually came in less than they quoted. Therefore I trust them implicitly.

Enter the site and look in maintenance and there is s section on Wedge doors. Also, if you have not done so, the Wedge bible is a very handy tome to have around. Door trim come apart easy but can be fiddly. Never adjusted the drop but told thats one of them fiddly but no way impossable. Watch out for weak fixings, ones that only need that extra turn and "snap".

The window sits in a sleel (coated) cnannel
with rubber to keep it in place.
My mate did his on his 400 se - and bought the part
from a TVR dealer - no problem with supply.
It's not a difficult job - I've done it myself.
Don't be put off of TVR prices before you have asked.
I've been given many little bits FOC - I guess that is
just down to good will (you might come back and
buy a new car !!).
