delays on some 08 Vantages due to paint??

I have just been informed by my dealer that my 08 car (Stratus White) has been delayed slightly due to ?
I have heard the paint shop is backed up as one reason but have also heard that Out of Range colors or rather colors other than the standard Tungsten, Black, Mercury are affected by this. Still unclear, whether it is a supplier problem or unusual congestion at the paint factory.
I am a bit disappointed since I thought I would have the first 08 from my dealer, but they are unloading a few 08s out of the containers next week.
Has anybody else heard of this and can shed some light??
