I'm after a set of slicks for my 205 GTi track slag, they don't have to be new. I remember reading somewhere that the one's they use in the Clio cup series are the right size for standard 1.9 GTi rims. Short of going along to the last round of the championship and asking around the paddock after the last race how could I get hold of a set? Been looking on Ebay and Motorsport ads and such but with no luck yet. Also could I just get them fitted at a regular tyre fitter's or do they have a special construction that needs specialist equipment to mount them on the rims?

Apologies if this seems like a daft question, it's always obvious once you know the answer.

Failing that just give the supplier's motorsport division a bell. they are humans too (well perhaps so aren't fully of this world hehe )and tend to be a really good buntch of guys who can point you right.

My local tyre fitter fitted mine on the Davrian, I just turned up there on a Saturday morning with them in the back of my everyday car. 9.0/20-13 on 10x13 wheels.
